Local conservation reps were on hand with some live animals to get up close with. This wasn't a standard petting zoo. They staff was insightful about the creatures they were displaying. Thankfully baby gators had their mouths taped so there was no danger but it was fascinating to learn about how they live in the wild.

And then there was the snake. The snake. I have no trouble holding a gator but I just can't bring myself to holding a snake that will wrap around my body. Sorry!
